The public data portal for the EEA and Norway Grants: calls, allocations, projects and programmes, with interactive visualisations. Nobody asked for it.

It reads the subset of the grants ERP exposed on a public API, pre-loaded into a cache that refreshes every fifteen minutes rather than querying live. The volume is small and the content is high-level and slow-moving, so pre-loading buys responsiveness without costing freshness. A deliberately plain design. A more complicated one would have been worse.
